For over 40 years the American Beauty College has maintained a reputation for excellence in the field of cosmetology education and we remain committed to providing you with the competitive edge you need to be successful in the industry. Cosmetology is the third largest profession in the world and remains one of the top recession-proof careers with the demand for licensed stylists being much greater than the supply. In today’s media-centered culture, cosmetologists are realizing career success at unprecedented levels.

At American Beauty College we closely follow the professionals, trends, fashions, products and styles by keeping our fingers on the pulse of the beauty industry. Our main objective is to offer a comprehensive, quality education that prepares students to pass the State Board of Licensing exams and to assist in career placement after graduation.

We are an accredited school recognized by all the national agencies regulating Cosmetology education, including:

For those who qualify, Financial Aid is available.

Because we feel it is important for all of our students to learn and work with professional products and equipment used by industry professionals, we use REDKEN and DR. MURAD products in house! In addition, American Beauty School invites professional makeup artists and nail artists who help educate students as well as bring products for students to use personally and professionally.

American Beauty School has also enjoyed several partnerships with entities in the entertainment industry, including:

Since August 2005, American Beauty School has been owned by CERT Institute of Cosmetology, LLC, which is a joint partnership between Carole Stephenson and Tanya Rhiner.
